Weather in Phuket, Thailand in July 2013

July months saw as normal less wind and just some rain. When big tropical storms formed in the South China Sea we had stronger wind and rain, but this happen only few days and never for a long period.

As for statistic was a good month and always we suggest as a good time to visit Phuket

Phuket Weather 29, 30 and 31 July 2013

With July we close third month of Easy Day Thailand weather reports, the months saw as normal less wind and just some rain. There has been some storm but only for two or three days. Overall sea was calm.

Last three days of July we had alternation of Sun and clouds, yesterday all day large dark clouds keep forming in the sky, sometime short but intense rain falls. This morning though would have rain all day, but by midday sun was shining and when I left to Bangkok from the airport windows can see the blue sky and wonder full sea.

Arrived in Bangkok was raining, during late afternoon wind was blowing bit stronger and wiped the tick clouds away, still very hot and humid.

About the sea don't forget that Summer is best time for diving in Phuket, water is clear, less people underwater, can combine best hotels deals with diving packages and enjoy this wonderful activity.

Phuket weather 15 and 16 July 2013

The week started with clouds and a bit of wind, sea still good only small waves, so a bit bumpy if you go for a speed boat tour to the islands.

Overall the day wasn't bad with no rain but either no Sun. Then this morning just after dawn a lot of rain came down for about two hours.

Then stopped but left the sky cover in tick clouds and here and there a light rain was falling, still wild is mild and waves let enjoy the sea.

Our suggestion to really enjoy a day tour is the Phi Phi Premium tour, transfer to Phi Phi are in first class, The saloon is very comfortable, with a private toilet and if weather is good a huge roof top. Arrived in Phi Phi change to a speed boat, just enough to enjoy it. This way during days as now the tour will be a pleasure.

Phuket weather July 13 and 14

Second weekend of July brought in some clouds and light rain. Saturday clouds came from the sea and slowly covered the sky, late afternoon still some patch of blue could be seen between the grey, despite this only few drops came down.

During night and early morning on Sunday, but was the wind that changed things, soon started blowing bit stronger and this kept rain away, wouldn't say was a sunshine day but not so bad and only few showers here and there.

On the beach was life as usual with light sunbath and people enjoy carefully the waves. These are perfect days for a visit to a SPA for aroma therapy and massage, best place is Mookda Spa, a small Spa in traditional Thai style just few minutes from Patong beach and just twenty minutes from Kata Beach.

Phuket weather 1 July 2013

The month started with a mix of sunshine and rain, the morning was very good with some isolated shower, giving the impression that would be then good all day long. as you can see from the forest at Khao Phra Thaew National Park, also here is the Gibbon rehabilitation center

But then in the afternoon more clouds arrived from the sea and rain was falling here and there on the island. Despite this the waterfalls are still on  a very low level of water.

At the end we close the evening with isolated thundershowers and cover sky, overall a good day and we will sleep well at night with fresh air. From wind and beach side not much to say small waves breaks to the beach and wind is a bit stronger only before rain comes.
