I feel this was a informative workshop, giving the time frame we had to work with.
We firstly went through some of my photos in the morning, and Adriano critiqued the work in the context of his own photographic style.
We then discussed the composition of a photo, how to control exposure, focus and depth of field by changing the shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings.
He offered many specific useful suggestions which was then put into practice in our walk around Old Phuket Town in the afternoon.
The following morning we went to Kathu Waterfalls and Wat Chalong Temples.
We took my friend who was our model, and this allowed Adriano to show me how to utilise an external flash with a softbox on it as well as a normal flash with a remote, and how controlling the light and directing it where you want it will give more emphasis to the main point of interest.
In the afternoon we then went through the images that I had taken, and chose a few images that stood out and worked on them in photoshop.
Adriano showed me how to convert RAW files and how some simple tools in Photoshop can enhance pictures in post-production.
Overall, Adriano gave me the confidence I needed to pursue working in manual, as I have always photographed in auto.
I feel this workshop was extremely valuable, and highly recommend Adriano to those looking to improve all aspects of their photographic knowledge, and I am looking forward to working with Adriano when he visits Australia.
We were very satisfied with the trips we booked through Easy day. We have been to Thailand several times. It is not always a pleasure driving on the roads, with a driver who thinks he is a rally driver!! But your driver was so kind and drove very carefully. Cant remember his name, but give him our regards.
I will try to give you a comment on tripadvisor asap.
Good day to you - we had a fantastic time in Thailand - many thanks to Francesca who was very knowledgeable and ensured that we booked trips that would suite our family.
We loved our trip to Racha Yai and the staff where very professional and ensured that we had a good time. We also enjoyed our trip to Phang Nga Bay the scenery is spectacular - I do feel that your clients should be advised of the travelling time by road, my only suggestion would be that the tour guide should have been more knowledge on the areas visited. I would like to have had some detail on the area and the lime formation etc.
I would also like to commended your staff for always being on time for collection and ensuring that we got back to our hotels at the times specified it makes a big difference when you have been out all day.
Phang Nga province offers amazing sceneries and beautiful beaches. One of the hidden treasures is the Sa Nang Manora Forest Park.
Manora Forest Park is only some 6 kilometres away from the northern end of Phang Nga town and we visited on a family trip up to Khao Sok National Park.
You will find a well marked nature trail and a clean picnic area, same as in many Thai park or national park. The trail will show you giant trees a long the cool little stream, small waterfalls, bamboo forest, cliffs with little hidden caves.
It is a shaded pass, and easy walk for most people. We went with our families including small kids and had no problems.
The best feature of the park (if you ask our kids) is that you can plunge into the cool waters pools along the trail.
